Represented plaintiff in securities arbitration against two corporate and one individual defendant in securities related claims.
Represented company and individual in response to Colorado Division of Securities subpoena and investigation.
Represented two plaintiffs in action against Colorado based engineer relating to defective design of HVAC system in a commercial marijuana grow.
Trial counsel for two corporate and three individual defendants in action brought by the Colorado Division of Securities; obtained summary judgment on various Colorado Securities Act claims; represented same clients on appeal and obtained decision affirming partial dismissal of claims.
Represented Defendant in securities fraud claim alleging misappropriation of $500,000 investment during pending investigations by state and local authorities. Matter settled.
Represented plaintiff in action to recover capital and heavy equipment contributed to partnership and development business. Successfully recovered equipment, capital, and substantial settlement.
Represented plaintiff in action against land developer for fraud and related conduct concerning development of a $50 million resort in Palm Springs; matter settled.
Represented plaintiff in case against three individual and one corporate defendant involving ownership and control of closely held corporation worth $3-$5 million. Jury verdict on liability in favor of Plaintiff. Matter settled thereafter.
Represented two individual and two corporate defendants in commercial contract dispute concerning ownership of medical marijuana center and involving claims for damages in excess of $1 million. Matter settled on terms acceptable to defendants.
Trial counsel for plaintiff in partnership dispute concerning operation of marijuana business. Verdict in excess of $100,000 for Plaintiff.
Represented third-party defendant in legal malpractice action. Obtained settlement including payment to client on abuse of process counterclaim.
Represented plaintiffs in legal malpractice action involving multiple attorneys anda regional law firm and disputes regarding the ownership of a closely held business.
Represented plaintiff in business dispute concerning ownership of business; matter settled.
Represented plaintiff in securities act and other claims relating to investment in business; matter settled.
Represented defendant in partnership dispute over ownership of financial services firm; matter settled.
Associate counsel representing special litigation committee of the Board of Directors of publicly traded company. Provided advice and counsel to Board regarding complex derivative claims.
Associate counsel representing corporation in action to recover proceeds of embezzlement and fraud from high level employee.
Associate counsel for defendant in trial of action by office building owner and mortgagee claiming over $44 Million in damages as a result of breach of contract, construction defects, and fraud in sales/leaseback transaction. Team obtained partial summary judgment for defendant on contract and related claims; jury verdict for defendant on all fraud claims.
